JP Roberts is a Senior Engineer for Ecoremedy®. He is an essential part of the engineering team needed for the company’s Fluid Lift Gasification™ design and implementation. He performs and analyzes heat and load balances, is a team member in the design and layout of wastewater gasification plant systems, and performs on-site project engineering tasks, such as commissionings, field inspections, and monitoring of plant performance. He also supports the Ecoremedy team in sales, continuous improvement, and mentorship.
Early in Ecoremedy’s development, JP helped to design and build the company’s testing facility in Pennsylvania as well as develop the small-scale gasification system, ultimately implemented for agricultural feedstock plants in Missouri and Pennsylvania.
A Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers, he has more than 24 years of experience in all aspects of design build mechanical contracting and engineering with a specialty in energy management and alternative energy generation. During his career, he has worked for several Central Pennsylvania mechanical contractors and engineering firms, where he has a track record of developing economically and environmentally sustainable solutions for complex problems.
JP and his wife live in York, Pennsylvania, where he plays trumpet in the local symphony and enjoys woodworking and home improvement projects. As a member of the York County Community Foundation’s Sustainable Energy Committee he supports and contributes to the growth of his local community.
