Alternative Energy Generation Expert JP Roberts Joins Ecoremedy as Senior Engineer for Wastewater Operations

JP Roberts, PE CEM, a 24-year veteran of design build mechanical engineering with a specialty in alternative energy, has joined the team at Ecoremedy LLC© as Senior Engineer. He will work on the design, layout and implementation of the company’s Fluid Lift GasificationTM system for biosolids energy and resource recovery at wastewater treatment plants.

On-site at Ecoremedy projects, JP will perform a variety of tasks including the analysis of heat and load balances, oversight of commissioning processes, field inspections and overall management of plant performance. He will also support the Ecoremedy team in sales, continuous improvement and mentorship.

“JP is an engineering pro who – as a consultant – was instrumental to our company’s early success and now returns to work directly with our team on critical functions related to our patented Fluid Lift Gasification technology and operation,” said David Mooney, Ecoremedy President and Chief Technology Officer. “His past contributions included helping with the design build of our testing facility in Pennsylvania as well as small-scale gasification systems ultimately implemented for agricultural feedstock plants in Missouri and Pennsylvania.”

A Professional Engineer, JP is certified by the State of Pennsylvania and is an Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager. He has more than 24 years of experience in all aspects of design build mechanical contracting and engineering with a specialty in energy management and alternative energy generation. During his career, he has worked for several Central Pennsylvania mechanical contractors and engineering firms, where he has a track record of developing economically and environmentally sustainable solutions for complex problems.

JP is a member of the York County Community Foundation’s Sustainable Energy Committee and supports and contributes to his local community growth. He received his mechanical engineering degree from Lehigh University.
