Ecoremedy’s Vertical and Horizontal Design Flexibility

  February 16, 2021

These two projects demonstrate the flexibility of Fluid Lift Gasification™ and the creativity of the Ecoremedy engineering team. The two drawings below reflect a vertical vs. horizontal layout for the same ECR-542 system (14,250 WT/Y).

Vertical Installation

The Edmonds Project, located in Washington state, will be a vertically-oriented two-story installation in an existing incinerator building (56’ x 39’ x 37’ tall). An opening in the wall provides the only access for incinerator demolition and gasification installation. Not only was Ecoremedy the only technology provider that could build within the existing space, we were cost-competitive with all other thermal treatment technologies evaluated by the city.

Horizontal Installation

The Morrisville Project is a horizontal single-story process train on a greenfield site. The Morrisville Municipal Authority provided a quarter-acre parcel adjacent to the dewatering building in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
