GASIFICATION FACTS

Gasification is a process that converts biomass- or fossil fuel-based carbonaceous materials into gases, including as the largest fractions: nitrogen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide.

FLUID LIFT GASIFICATION™ WAS CREATED IN 2001.

  • The Ecoremedy Fluid Lift Gasification technology allows operators to switch in real-time between three different modes:
    • Class A Biosolids
    • Maximum Volume Reduction
    • High-Carbon FlexChar™

  • Ecoremedy Fluid Lift Gasification process advantages:
    • Flexible
    • Safe
    • Profitable

  • Ecoremedy gasification converts raw solids to highly marketable fertilizer with more than 90% available nutrients — 150% better than traditional techniques.

  • When organic residuals are dewatered and undergo treatment, the nutrient-rich product is called biosolids.

  • The gasification of waste reduces the need for landfill space, decreases methane emissions, and reduces the use of fossil fuels.

  • Gasification is NOT incineration.

EPA concluded that the Ecoremedy gasifier unit as proposed would not combust sewage sludge as defined in the pertinent regulations and that the SSI NSPS would not apply to the biosolids gasification unit that is proposed for construction at the wastewater treatment facility of the City of Edmonds.

  • Ecoremedy’s Fluid Lift Gasification System is proven to destroy PFAS
